Vestey Foods Group is an International farming and food business specialising in the export, import, packing, storage and distribution of a wide variety of food products.
Consignments are expertly sourced from global suppliers and placed into the local markets served by the 50 international group offices. The group trades into some 70 countries.
The Special Contracts Division of Vestey Foods UK Limited is a partner in Purple Foodservice Solutions (PFS) which is the prime contractor to Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) for the Global Food Supply contract. PFS supply the British Armed Forces with all their food requirements in the UK and internationally in theatre and on exercise. Having been part of this supply contract for over 12 years, the Special Contracts Division have a proven track record of reliability, efficiency and professionalism in this field of expertise.
The Special Contracts Division is proud to have been involved with the British Armed Forces Global Food Supply contract and to have been a founding partner of PFS.
Vestey Foods UK Ltd, Special Contracts Division is in full support of reducing the carbon footprint in all its activities and recycles packaging and food produce, regularly donating redundant samples and excess production to aid organisations. The Special Contracts Division fully supports and is committed to the UN Global Compact Agreement.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Vestey Foods UK Ltd: Special Contracts Division (VFUKSCD) is a service provider for the management of procurement, storage, contract packing, and distribution of food products.
VFUKSCD objective is to minimise our environmental impact whilst we continue to meet our obligations to supply safe and legal products that meet or exceed the customer / consumer&rsquos expectations. To accomplish this, we have implemented procedures and systems to identify and minimise environmental impacts as part of our Business Management System.
VFUKSCD are committed to continual improvement of our environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. We achieve this by setting and reviewing objectives for environmental performance based on our assessment of the most significant environmental impacts of our operation.
VFUKSCD are also committed to comply with all applicable legal requirements, with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and with other requirements to which we subscribe relating to environmental performance.
VFUKSCD Environmental Policy is understood by all key personnel and communicated to all new staff when employed. All VFUKSCD employees will contribute to ensure that the objectives for Environmental Management are met at all times. The Environmental Policy is reviewed annually for continued suitability.
